     Sold for $9 million! New St. Tammany land owner bought property on a whim Brittany Tully - Asst. Marketing Director         (Livingston, LA.) - Meet C harles Beasley, the former CEO of the Baptist Communities Ministries charitable foundation. He is the new owner of Wadsworth Estates, the Mandeville development sold with us on Thursday.    (Courtesy of Charles Beasley & NOLA.com)    Familiar with the property but not knowing the story behind it,  Beasley told NOLA.com that he bought the 92-acre land for $9 million on a whim.   He and his partners plan to revive the property into a residential and commercial property.   "The only reason I own that property is because I'm old school and read the newspaper everyday," said Beasley, a long-time resident of Mandeville.
